Yabusele, a dynamic forward with a well-traveled career, was initially selected 16th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft. His tenure with the Celtics was brief, spanning just two seasons before he was waived in the summer of 2019. Following his release, Yabusele took his talents overseas, spending a season in China.
He subsequently joined ASVEL in France, a team owned by NBA Hall of Famer Tony Parker. Yabusele's stint at ASVEL paved the way for a fruitful opportunity with Real Madrid, one of Europe’s premier basketball clubs. During his time with Real Madrid, Yabusele played a pivotal role in their triumph at the 2023 EuroLeague, where the team reached the final four in each season he was present.

Yabusele has also left his mark on the international stage, contributing significantly to France’s runner-up finish at the Tokyo Olympics. His standout performances included scoring 22 points against Canada, 17 points against Germany, and an impressive 20 points against the United States. Demonstrating his sharpshooting ability, Yabusele hit 16 of his 24 attempts (66.7%) from beyond the arc and shot 58.9% overall during the Olympics.

Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing 260 pounds, Yabusele brings substantial physical presence and versatility to the 76ers’ roster.
